LEARN CRUCIAL TECHNIQUES FOR FIGHTING BREAST CANCER
West Grove, PA., October 8, 2019 - On Thursday, October 10, Jennersville Hospital will provide a free breast health event hosted by Tracy Carmellini, MD, Medical Director of Imaging at Jennersville Hospital. Dr. Carmellini approaches her presentations on breast health as if she was talking to a sister or beloved girlfriend. Passionate about keeping women healthy through all ages and stages, Dr. Carmellini's teachings and preventative measures are truly known to be life-saving
The event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn - Kennett Square

from 5:45 to 8 p.m. (5:30 p.m. check-in)
"There is contradictory information regarding screening mammography and early detection of breast cancer that leads to confusion among women," said Dr. Carmellini. Patients need clear and accurate information regarding their breast cancer risk so they can discuss options with their providers when making shared decisions about screening."
Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Amber Evans, DNP, CNM, RNC-OB and Abigail Twerdok, CNM, Advanced Practice Midwives, to learn about other important aspects of breast health and discover more about Jennersville Hospital's new Women's Health Services.
Guests can also learn how to relax using essential oils and creating art with local vendors.
In addition, healthy cooking tips will be showcased and guests can shop for jewelry, accessories and cosmetics from local businesses.
