Community Volunteering

Volunteering

Lend a hand.

If you're passionate about community service, care deeply for people and have the time and energy, we'd love to have your help at Jennersville Hospital. Volunteering opportunities are available in various departments throughout our hospital. Get in touch, and let's talk about how we can help each other.

Volunteer opportunities in our hospital include helping in:

  • Patient Transport
  • Emergency Department
  • Food Services
  • Surgery Center
  • Patient Visitation

It’s easy to get involved. Simply complete and submit a Volunteer Services application and a letter of recommendation. Our volunteer coordinator will schedule an interview with each interested volunteer. We do require that our volunteers agree to a background check and a drug and tuberculosis test, administered at and paid for by the hospital, before starting service. You should be able to give a minimum of one four-hour day of service per week.

Volunteers will be scheduled to attend a hospital new employee/volunteer orientation, typically held on first Wednesday of the month from 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Applications and letters of recommendation can be mailed to the address noted on the application form, hand delivered to the Hospital or faxed to 610-869-1461.
